Southern Patagonia has earned the name "Land of Giants" because of the discovery of Titanosaurs like Notocolossus. Although not as large as Patagotitan, extremely liberal mass estimates have put Notocolossus' weight at 170,000 pounds. One must note however that most of these size estimates are incredibly high and not necessarily correct. The actual animal was probably smaller. Still, the discovery of so many large dinosaurs is intriguing, and theories exist including that they are actually different species (or specimens) of Argentinosaurus.
